Ranking All 30 MLB Twitter Hashtags (2019)
Although football is around the corner, Major League Baseball has the spotlight right now. For fans that love the sport and appreciate its nuance, it’s one of the best times of the year. For me, I get into baseball more than any sport, partly because you can rely on it every single night and also because there’s so much to consume in addition to the games. Whether it be baseball cards, baseball movies, or the beauty of the country’s ballparks, you can really dive deep during baseball season.
One thing outside of game action that I really enjoy is the official MLB hashtags on Twitter. There’s just something incredibly pure about them: from the way fans use them as a rallying cry to official team accounts branding their posts with them, there’s a certain beauty to each and every one. Some are better than others, though, so I’ve decided to rank all 30 official 2019 MLB Team Hashtags.
Ranking All 30 MLB Twitter Hashtags
30: #Rockies (Colorado Rockies)

19: #TrueToTheBlue (Seattle Mariners)
18: #PinstripePride (New York Yankees)

16: #RootedInOakland (Oakland A’s)
15: #ThisIsMyCrew (Milwaukee Brewers)
14: #EverybodyIn (Chicago Cubs)
13: #MotorOn (Detroit Tigers)
12: #RattleOn (Arizona Diamondbacks)
11: #TimeToFly (St. Louis Cardinals)
10: #LGM (New York Mets)
The shortest of all official MLB hashtags, but one of the most effective — ‘Let’s Go Mets’ is, and always will be, the rallying cry of Mets fans. Recently, they’ve added a “fuckin” in there, too, which is awesome.

9: #OnePursuit (Washington Nationals)
An original hashtag, and one that really gets you pumped.
1. Walk
2. Steal
3. Walk
4. Walk
5. Bases-loaded balk
6. 2B lost in the lightsJust how we drew it up.@KPMidAtlantic // #OnePursuit pic.twitter.com/eJRa5lmI5X

8: #Birdland (Baltimore Orioles)
Like #LGM, the term ‘Birdland’ is synonymous with the O’s and you can find it all over Camden Yards.

7: #ChopOn (Atlanta Braves)
Not only is it a great hashtag but it’s the calling card for Braves fans everywhere. If one Braves’fan sees another in enemy territory, they’re either saying “Chop On” or doing the chop hand gesture.

6: #TakeItBack (Houston Astros)
Talk about original, the Astros #TakeItBack tag is a reference to the World Series trophy, which they won in 2017 but failed to win in 2018. In 2019, they’re trying to #TakeItBack.
