Scott Stadium Hosting UVA Championship Celebration (Sat, 4/13)

If you’re like me, you’ve been reliving UVA’s National Championship run every way possible. Between rewatching highlights, shopping for new gear, and following the team’s celebrations on Instagram, it’s been all Wahoos, all the time.

On Saturday, UVA fans can make a whole bunch of new memories as the team and Wahoo Nation celebrates the program’s first national title at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville.

The event kicks off at 2:00 P.M ET, with the West, Southwest, and East gates opening at 12:30 P.M ET.

Per an e-mail from Virginia Athletics, the first 25,000 fans at the event will receive a free Virginia poster commemorating the victory, and all fans will receive a free rally towel. Plus, there will be free Pepsi and Aquafina products available for the event.

The clear bag policy and entry procedures in place for all home basketball and football games will be in place for Saturday’s event. Concession stands and restrooms on the west side of the stadium will be open and fans will have the opportunity to purchase merchandise, including NCAA championship and Final Four apparel.

The event will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra (WatchESPN.com) and the WatchESPN App.

Additionally, parking is free on a first come, first serve basis. Admission for the celebration, of course, is free.
