Skins Legend Darrell Green Shouts Out George Mason at NFL Draft
After a Hall 0f Fame career with the Washington Redskins, Darrell Green definitely bleeds burgundy and gold. So it wasn’t a surprise when the team tabbed Green to announce their third-round pick at the 2019 NFL Draft. When he got to the podium, Green let the world know that he also bleeds green and gold, too, for George Mason.

Green currently works at George Mason as their Associate Athletic Director and has been a vocal ambassador of the school in recent years.
As for the pick, which was the 78th overall, Green announced Ohio State wide receiver Terry McLaurin, a weapon very familiar with Washington’s first overall pick, Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins.
