Iowa’s Jordan Bohannon Misses Free Throw on Purpose to Protect Record of Player Who Passed Away
Jordan Bohannon, a sophomore point guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes, had the opportunity to break Chris Street’s record of 35 consecutive free-throws made but chose to miss on purpose to protect it. Street, who had his parents in attendance, passed away in a 1993 car accident while in the middle of the streak. Very admirable, Jordan.
