Twitter Reacts to Chadwick Boseman’s Sad Passing
Sadly, Chadwick Boseman passed away Friday at 43 after a private four-year battle with colon cancer. Boseman, even after his diagnosis, filmed and released several hit films, including Da 5 Bloods, Marshall, and, of course, his most infamous role in Black Panther.
Prior to his diagnosis, he starred as Jackie Robinson in the baseball film 42. His passing came on Jackie Robinson Day in Major League Baseball where every player wears No. 42.
The initial announcement was made on Boseman’s social media accounts, setting off a bevy of notes, tributes, and condolences from athletes, celebrities, brands, and teams.
