Updated 2021 UVA Baseball Fall Ball Schedule & Results
Led by a solid core of returners from last year’s College World Series run, the UVA baseball team is back at it. Among the returners this fall are outfielders Alex Tappen and Chris Newell, infielders Max Cotier and Jake Gelof, sluggers Kyle Teel and Devin Ortiz, and pitchers Matt Wyatt and Nate Savino. The Hoos already beat the Ontario Blue Jays 14-1 in a scrimmage, per to CBS19. Newcomer Casey Saucke, a shortstop from Rochester, NY, started and homered against Ontario. They’ll now play their annual Orange-Blue World Series, a long-running tradition in most college baseball fall seasons, as well as a few other scrimmages. Full schedule below:
