Bryce Perkins Makes Rams 53-Man Roster
Former Virginia quarterback Bryce Perkins survived final cutdown day and will be the Rams’ third-string quarterback. Perkins played very well in the preseason and the Rams didn’t want to risk losing him. Had they put him on the practice squad, other teams would have had a chance to scoop him up. He probably won’t be active all that often with Matthew Stafford and John Wolford locked in but this is a long play by the Rams, for sure.

Perkins was on the Rams practice squad for most of last season after going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft.
