UVA Football Shut Out at 2021 NFL Draft
For the second time since 1984, the Hoos were shut out at the NFL Draft. DE Charles Snowden and TE Tony Poljan were the program’s top potential draftees but wound up signing free-agent contracts after getting passed on. Snowden signed with Chicago while Poljan linked up with Baltimore. D’Angelo Amos, who started his career at JMU before transferring to UVA, signed with Detroit after the draft concluded.

Hokies Have Impressive Draft
Unlike UVA and every other state program, Virginia Tech players were all over the 2021 NFL Draft. The highlight of their draft was back-to-back first-round picks (No. 22 Caleb Farley; No. 23 Christian Darrisaw). Overall, four Hokies heard their names called; in addition to Farley and Darrisaw, Divine Deablo went in the third round and running back Khalil Herbert went in the sixth.
With the No. 22 overall pick in the 2021 @NFLDraft, the @Titans select CB Caleb Farley!
