Radford’s Fah’Mir Ali, Hampton’s Davion Warren Among Big South Postseason Award Winners
The Big South Conference released their award winners for the 2020-21 men’s basketball season on Friday and all three Virginia programs were represented. Hampton’s Davion Warren (21.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg) was the big winner from the trio of programs, earning first-team all-conference honors. His teammate Russell Dean (10.7 ppg, 6.0 apg) was an honorable mention for all-conference.
Longwood’s Juan Munoz (12.6 ppg, 2.9 apg) was a second-team selection, while his teammate Justin Hill (11.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg) was an all-freshman selection. Radford freshman Fah’Mir Ali (10.3 ppg, 3.8 apg) was the lone Highlander in the mix, also getting picked for the all-freshman team. All three teams will participate in the conference tournament which starts on Monday at campus sites.
