Virginia Basketball Players Re-Enact NBA Skills Challenge
The 2020 Virginia Cavaliers are finding productive ways to spend their self-quarantine. Yesterday, I posted about Mamadi Diakite getting his stacks up on IG, and now Grant Kersey and Tomas Woldetensae are trying to go viral.
The pair re-enacted the NBA Skills Challenge out in the burbs somewhere (with official UVA basketballs) and posted it to Grant’s Twitter account.

Winner: Grant Kersey
Real Winner: Everyone else.
Virginia ended their season on an eight-game winning streak to finish 23-7. The coronavirus nixed the ACC Tournament but they had a double-bye and could have legitimately won the whole damn thing. Woldetensae, in his first season in Charlottesville, led the team in three-point field goals (52). Fan-favorite Grant Kersey appeared in the Hoos’ home opener against James Madison, got a bucket, and finished his UVA career with a perfect shooting percentage (4-for-4).
