The Lancers (2-8, 1-3) snapped a five-game losing streak on Thursday and earned their first Big South win. Heru Bligen had a career-high 14 points to lead the way for Longwood. They play a back-to-back against USC Upstate this Monday/Tuesday.
Gardner-Webb 80, Hampton 69
The Runnin’ Bulldogs got even with Hampton on Thursday, beating Hampton (4-5, 3-1) by the same score the Pirates won by on Wednesday. Davion Warren scored a game-high 23 points in the loss. Hampton is now 3-1 in the Big South.
Presbyterian 65, Radford 63
Radford had a chance to send the game to overtime but Quinton Morton-Robertson missed a bucket at the buzzer. They fell to 3-1 in conference play and have a back-to-back with Hampton this Monday/Tuesday. Charlotte transfer Dravon Mangum had a career-high 16 points for Radford in the loss.
