WATCH: Andy Dalton Makes Cowboys Debut
Andy Dalton was one of the low-key free-agent signings of the offseason. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys but since they have Dak Prescott it was kind of shrugged off. On Sunday, in the Cowboys Week 2 game against Atlanta, however, Dalton was called upon late in the third quarter when Dak hurt his head on a roughing the passer penalty. Andy came in with the ball on the one-yard line for a first-and-goal.

To the surprise of everyone, they called a pass play for his first play as a Cowboy.
Atlanta sniffed it out and he was forced to throw it away, however. On second-and-goal, he handed it off to Zeke for what was thought to be a score. It was challenged and when it was eventually overturned, Dak Prescott was OK to return. On third-and-goal, Dak scored from one yard out to cut Atlanta’s lead to 29-24.
UPDATE: Dallas went on to win 40-39 on a last-second field goal by Greg Zuerlein.
