WATCH: Baltimore Orioles Mike Elias, Brandon Hyde Talk About Future

On January 26th at the Baltimore Orioles FanFest, two key members of the new regime, Mike Elias and Brandon Hyde, answered questions from fans about the team’s future. The event took place locally at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Alexandria resident Mike Elias was hired as Baltimore’s new general manager and executive vice president on November 16th, 2018, while Brandon Hyde was brought in as the team’s manager about a month later on December 14th, 2018.

Both guys come from World Series-winning programs; Elias served in several roles during the Houston Astros’ rebuild, including assistant general manager, and Hyde was a coach under Joe Maddon with the Chicago Cubs.
