WATCH: Bryce Harper Breaks Out of Slump With 2 MONSTER Homers

Prior to August 19th, Bryce Harper was having an MVP-like season. Since, however, he’s really struggled, hitting just .163 with three homers in his last 28 games. But on Thursday, as his team clings to the final playoff spot in the National League, Bryce got back on track with a pair of monster homers. Both came off Mets starter Seth Lugo, and both traveled a very long way. The first (in the bottom of the first) went to dead center and registered at 433 feet — you can watch below.

The second (in the bottom of the second inning) was even more impressive; Bryce turned on Lugo’s pitch something wicked, sending it 445 feet into the second deck.

Bryce now has 10 homers on the year.

New York wound up winning 10-6. Bryce was walked in two of his final three ABs. He finished 2-for-3 with two walks, two homers, two runs scored and two runs batted in. For the year, he raised his average to .252.
