WATCH: Bryce Harper Smacks 2 Homers at His Old Ballpark
Nationals Park is sort of the stadium that Bryce Harper built. Some people might argue that sentiment but he brought a ton of attention to the club and there were more #34 Harper jerseys at the park than any other player. From there, Bryce got the money and the Nats got a trophy, but I digress.
On Wednesday, Bryce was back at his old park as his new team clings to hopes of snagging one of the final NL playoff spots. He wasted little time getting down to business, homering in his first at-bat to the tune of 425 feet off former teammate Erick Fedde. Later on in the sixth, he bashed another oppo dinger off Fedde, his 13th of the year.

Philly went on to win 12-3 to improve their record to 28-29. As of this post, they’re the ninth seed but they’re right in the thick of it. FanGraphs gives them a 52.9 percent chance to make the playoffs.
