WATCH: Charlie Blackmon Hits Two-Out, Walk-Off Grand Salami
Colorado snapped a three-game losing streak on Friday thanks to Charlie Blackmon and his incredible two-out, ninth-inning grand slam. Blackmon hammered a 3-1 pitch 438 feet to snap a 4-4 tie and give the Rox an 8-4 victory over the LA Angels.

Blackmon’s homer was his sixth this season.
The win was needed badly. Colorado is in a tight race with a whole bunch of teams for the two NL Wild Card spots. With the W, they are the No. 9 seed, one game back of the No. 8 San Francisco Giants. Colorado has two more games against the Angels before starting a two-game set with Oakland.
