Watch Dame Lillard Drill Some Threes From The Logo
Yeah, so Dame Lillard is the hottest player in basketball right now. He’s probably the hottest player in all of sports, too, but it’s not fair for me to say that because I don’t actually know. No fake news over here, you know.
After games with 61, 47, and 50 points in his last three games, Dame threw up a triple-double in Portland’s 125-112 win over Houston on Wednesday, the first of his career. Surprising, I know. Lillard had 36 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds, and a little extra sauce for the millions watching on ESPN. Instead of shooting regular three-pointers, Damian Lillard decided it was time to show off the range, hitting a few bombs from the Blazers mid-court logo at the Moda Center.

In his last four games, Lillard has averaged 48.5 points, 9.8 assists, and 8.0 rebounds per game. Three of the four games resulted in at least a double-double for Dame, he’s shooting 55.9 percent from beyond the arc (33-for-59) and led the Blazers to a 3-1 record. He’s thrown the Blazers on his back completely, putting Portland on the cusp of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Lillard’s Last Four Games:
- 1/20: 61 PTS, 10 REB, 7 AST, 11-20 3FG
- 1/23: 47 PTS, 6 REB, 8 AST, 8-15 3FG
- 1/26: 50 PTS, 6 REB, 13 AST, 8-12 3FG
- 1/29: 36 PTS, 10 REB, 11 AST, 6-12 3FG
Portland improved to 21-27 with the win over Houston. They’ll have a must-see game Friday night on the road against the Lakers at Staples Center, their first time playing since the tragic death of Kobe Bryant. ESPN will broadcast the game at 10:00 P.M ET.
