WATCH: First Seahawks Josh Gordon Catches

Josh Gordon made his debut with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers. He came into the game with 20 catches for 287 yards and a touchdown, but all those stats came as a member of the Patriots. Nothing was guaranteed when he joined the Seahawks but they’re short at receiver and he would be worked into the gameplan somehow, per Pete Carroll.

Gordon played early on, yet quarterback Russell Wilson didn’t find the Baylor product until the fourth quarter when he made a 14-yard catch on a crucial third-and-six.

Wilson found Josh Gordon again in overtime on third down and the result was similar. The pass was dead on and Gordon collected another first down.

Gordon caught the only two passes Russell Wilson directed toward him.
