Before joining the Jets, Flacco had 218 touchdown passes — 212 with Baltimore and 6 with Denver. Sam Darnold couldn’t start this week due to a shoulder injury so Flacco got the nod.
This is Flacco’s first start with the Jets, though he did appear in their Week 4 game against Denver. He completed two passes on two attempts in Week 4 for 16 yards.
