WATCH: Mindhunter: Season 2 Official Teaser Trailer

In 2017, Mindhunter was one of Netflix’s most accomplished projects, receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences alike by tapping into the true-crime craze that Serial and Making A Murderer brought about. The show currently holds a 97 percent critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as a 95 percent audience score.

Cameron Britton, who stole several episodes in Season 1 as Ed Kemper, was responsible for the series lone Emmy nomination, getting the nod for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.

A full year has gone by since we’ve had new Mindhunter content, but we won’t have to wait much longer. Season 2 is on its way, and the teaser trailer has officially dropped. Included in the trailer is Holt McCallany as Bill Tench, his partner, Jonathan Groff and, of course, Britton as Kemper. A new face we see, which is very relevant right now because of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is Charles Manson, played by Damon Herriman.

The new series of Mindhunter comes out on August 16th, 2019.
