WATCH: Rhys Hoskins Stays Hot With 8th HR Since Aug. 23
Rhys Hoskins snuck a homer inside the left-field foul pole on Monday afternoon against Mets starter David Peterson to continue his unbelievable tear since August 23rd. The dong gave him eight homers in his last 13 games, and that’s after hitting one homer in his first 22 games. He now has nine on the year.

If Rhys Hoskins was hitting like this all year, he’d be leading the league in homers. With the eight in his last 13 games math applied to the first 22 games, he’d be somewhere in the 21-22 homer range right now, way ahead of the league lead. Hitting has always been a hot-and-cold gig and that’s unlikely but I’m just saying, he’s having a wicked power stretch right now (and hitting .300+ while doing it).
