Watch Steven Sims Fumble, Then Return a Kickoff For Touchdown
There hasn’t been a lot to celebrate for the Washington Redskins this year. They have scored the lowest number of points in the entire NFL and any chance of the postseason passed them by weeks ago. Steven Sims Jr. has been a jolt of happiness at times, though. He’s a speedster from Kansas that went undrafted and can take it to the house anytime he gets the ball. He did it against New England, and then did it again early in Week 12 at home against the Detroit Lions.
Sims Jr. initially fumbled the kickoff return, but then recovered, broke tackles and jetted down the sideline for the first touchdown of the day.
