Whoa! Get a Load of Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers

So, today, Sony dropped the trailer for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a film starring Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers, which tells the story of Rogers friendship with journalist Tom Junod. Sports fans may know Junod from his time at Sports Illustrated, but the crazy thing is seeing Hanks as Rogers.

The feel-good movie is set to come out a week before Thanksgiving on November 22nd, 2019.

Other notable actors in the film are Chris Cooper, an Academy Award winner, Susan Kelechi Watson, who you’ll know from This Is Us, and The Americans star Matthew Rhys.
