Wrestlemania 34 Breaks Superdome Attendance Record
In what has become a fairly common occurrence, the WWE broke another attendance record in another city with Wrestlemania 34.
THANK YOU, all 78,133 of you inside the @MBSuperdome in New Orleans!#WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/YN5sOBGMNu

This was an upgrade from the 75,167 who attended back in 2014 when Wrestlemania was last held at the Superdome.
Since they can seat more viewers than most sporting events due to their ability to utilize the actual playing surface, it makes sense that they would break most records.
Wrestlemania has become this super coveted event due to the masses of fans that flock to the host city and stay for a long weekend, eating drinking, and being merry, and for the most part, it usually delivers, particularly this year.
Even in an era where watching Wrestlemania is much easier and cheaper thanks to the WWE Network, people still go to take in the experience of it all.
More stats about the attendance have rolled out since, and to me, they’re even more impressive… though not as believable.
@WrestleMania has broken the record for the @MBSuperdome highest grossing entertainment event. The @WWE annual pop-culture extravaganza grossed $14.1 million! A sold-out crowd of 78,133 fans from all 50 states and 67 countries converged on #NOLA

I’m honestly not sure how they found out these random bits of info, but I can’t bring myself to believe it.
Having someone from every state attend the festivities is far-fetched, but it isn’t unbelievable.
The travel logistics to New Orleans from the other states aren’t that bad. You could even convince me that people from Hawaii or Alaska would fly over for the yearly spectacle.
But to say that they had fans from 67 countries come to Wrestlemania is a WILD claim.
If you take away some of the biggest wrestling countries in the world, like the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan, and England, you would still need people from 62 more countries.
Out of curiosity, I looked up how many countries were in Europe because I didn’t remember because I’m not a geography nerd, and I saw that it was 50.
If there was a fan from every single European country, you’d still need people from 17 more countries.
With only 78,133 seats, it smells a bit fishy.
Which brings me to my most important and unbelievable discovery during my research: There are 23 countries in North America.
Who in the hell knew that?
Look, I understand that there are quite a few islands in the Caribbean, but I was thinking there were like 8 total out there.
23 feels like another lie.
When you look at the population of a place like Grenada, you see that it only has 10,437 inhabitants.
That isn’t a country.
That’s a big town in the Mississippi Delta.
Now, I have al these idea on how I could properly take over Grenada and build a big house on a hill overlooking the ocean, never to work another day as long as I live.
Anyways, I don’t believe they had fans from 67 countries there.
