2022 Big East Tournament Odds, Predictions, Bracket & TV Schedule

The Big East put on a pretty good showing this season, finishing ahead of both the ACC and Pac-12 in KenPom’s rankings. When the NCAA Tournament is selected, they’ll be well-represented. In the latest Joe Lunardi Bracketology, seven teams are projected to make the field of 68. And now that the regular season is over and the legendary Big East Tournament awaits, the remaining four teams (St. Johns, Butler, Georgetown, DePaul) will have a chance to go on a run and secure the conference’s auto bid. Remember, Georgetown stole a bid last year by winning the event despite only nine regular-season wins.

Big East Tournament Predictions:

Best Value: UConn +350

It just feels right having UConn back in the Big East Tournament. They won six of their last seven to finish the season, were the only team to put two guys on the All-Big East first team — Adama Sanogo & R.J. Cole — and will definitely have a strong cheering section at MSG.

Best Longshot: St. John’s +2700

Again, it’s their home court and it’s been a longgg time since they have made a run in the conference tournament. They also have a couple of legit two-way players in Posh Alexander and Julian Champagnie. Montez Mathis got some good postseason experience last season with Rutgers. I’d say it’s worth a few bucks.
