80 Stings: Cole Beasley is Getting Ready to Drop a 13-Track Hip-Hop Album

Historically, Cole Beasley doesn’t look the part of an elite wide receiver. Yet, he’s been one of Tony Romo and Dak Prescott’s favorite targets since 2013. Beasley also doesn’t look the part of a hip-hop artist. Yet, the wavy-haired receiver dropped an impressive rap verse in earlier this year titled “80 Stings”.

Now, it looks like Beasley is ready to drop a full-length project.

“Just received all the masters for my album. 13 songs!! Y’all ready??? It’s right around the corner! I’m so excited for y’all to hear this.” -Cole Beasley on Twitter

After releasing the news, of course, all the trolls came out. Beasley, however, was steadfast in support of his tunes.

“Competition yeah, I halfed ’em
When you don’t look the part, yeah, you have to
When you do, opportunities stack up
Like the odds against me, I just have one”

-Cole Beasley on “80 Stings”

I’m usually skeptical of athletes rhyming, but Beasley actually knows what he’s doing. Plus, with the Dallas Cowboys’ massive fanbase, he’ll have a solid start in terms of listeners. Good move by Beas, both financially and to keep his mind strong.
