AEW Removes Match After Wrestler’s Derogatory Tweets Surface

AEW moved swiftly to remove a match from its upcoming AEW Dark episode after racist tweets from one of the wrestlers surfaced. Clutch Adams, who had been featured on the program before, used derogatory language in multiple tweets from 2013.

Another user discovered the tweets and brought them to the company’s attention. Executive Vice President and superstar Cody Rhodes promptly responded to the user, confirming the singles match against Shawn Spears had been removed from next week’s show.
