Agree/Disagree With Colin Cowherd’s Blazing 5 Week 9 NFL Picks (2019)

It’s Friday, which means Colin Cowherd released his popular Blazin’ 5 NFL betting picks. Cowherd has had a good season but he’s coming off a rough 1-4 week. He said he’s going to bounce back in Week 9 so let’s have a look…

Colin Cowherd’s Blazin’ 5 Week 9 NFL Picks

Indianapolis (-1.5) at Pittsburgh

Detroit at Oakland (-2.5)

Cleveland (-3.5) at Denver

Green Bay (-3.5) at LA Chargers

New England (-3) at Baltimore

Agree or Disagree?

Indianapolis (-1.5) at Pittsburgh — AGREE

I said it earlier this week, Mason Rudolph isn’t the future in Pittsburgh. In fact, I think he’s probably near the lowest tier of NFL quarterbacks right now. Colts are riding a three-game winning streak and have been great on the road this year, beating Kansas City and Tennessee. Jacoby Brissett is cool and composed wherever he plays.

Detroit at Oakland (-2.5)  — AGREE

Love this pick; Oakland is one of the few teams with a losing record that’s actually pretty good. Plus, Matthew Stafford is historically bad on the road (29-43 record).

Cleveland (-3.5) at Denver — AGREE

Cleveland is so overdue for a breakout game it’s not even funny. No Flacco for Denver and his replacement had never taken an NFL snap. Browns win in a blowout.

Green Bay (-3.5) at LA Chargers —DISAGREE

Oh man! This is the upset of the week. You heard it here first. LA is coming off a big win against Chicago and this is a classic letdown spot for the Packers. West Coast game before two tough games against Carolina and San Francisco. Take the points at home.

New England (-3) at Baltimore — DISAGREE

I think Lamar Jackson is going to be a problem for New England. They haven’t faced any QB as mobile as Lamar this year, and in the one game they faced Josh Allen, who’s pretty mobile, they had their biggest test of the season. Plus, you get Baltimore’s home crowd who is going to be all sorts of crazy. Take the points at home.
