Earl Sweatshirt Drops Trippy Single “Nowhere2Go” (Stream)

Earl Sweatshirt is back with a new single — “Nowhere2Go” — which can be heard below.

When Earl Sweatshirt popped up on Vince Staples’ FM! project, you kind of knew something else was coming. Now, just a few days later, we have a brand new single from Earl, titled “Nowhere2Go.”

Just before noon today, Earl tweeted out the song with the following message:

“YEEAAAAOEOOEOEOE TO SAY IM EXCITED TO B GIVING YALL MUSIC IS BIG UNDERSTATEMENT. THIS YEAR BEEN THE ROUGHEST OF MY LIFE, BUT HERE WE ARE !!!”

The song, which he said was produced by “@Kingsunnydey and the God Booliemane aka Darryl Johnson,” is less than two minutes in length and different (as usual) from everything you’ve heard lately. To call it trippy is sort of an understatement. Instead, “Nowhere2Go” is sleepy and sort of hard to understand. Nevertheless, hearing Earl Sweatshirt is always a gift and the single is a nice, spooky rap that the world needed. Check it out below:

In addition to the track, the picture that accompanies it is worth talking about. It features Earl with his long hair standing in front of a car. The best part, however, is his what he’s wearing: a head-to-toe Ghostbusters-looking outfit. You can see the photo in the featured image of this article.

The track is blowing up already, complete with a tweet from Spotify welcoming Mr. Sweatshirt back to the scene.
