Kyle Kuzma Trolled Lonzo Ball on Twitter By Proposing an Album Battle Against Nas
Even though he’s been in the NBA for one year, Lonzo Ball has been a hot topic in hip-hop/basketball circles. This is partly because of his on-court skills and sub-par musical talent, but also because of his lack of respect for the legends of hip-hop — most notably, Nas. First, he said Nas was “outdated”, then wore a hoodie with his face plastered on Nas’ Illmatic cover.
Now, with Kanye West’s announcement of a brand new Nas album, Ball’s teammate on the Lakers, Kyle Kuzma, has thrown out a challenge for the former UCLA star.
See the tweet below:
Hey @ZO2_ Nas is dropping his album June 15th… make one by that time and let’s see who is better… America do you want to see this?

A few things about this:
First, Kuzma knows that Lonzo Ball is a weak-sauce rapper. This is a pure troll-job by Kuzma…and it’s awesome. He is trying to put ‘Zo in his place a little bit and hopefully, get him to start respecting the artists who came before him. As we know, though, the Ball family tends to lack self-awareness. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ball throws together some half-ass project in the next few months to put up against Esco. But for real, let’s hope not.
As it stands now, 70 percent of the 50,000 votes are saying “Yes”. So if it happens like that, and enough people tell ‘Zo that he’s nowhere near Nas music-wise when the album battle goes down, Kuzma’s tweet will have done its job. Stay in yo lane, Lonzo!
Now, more importantly, how about a Kanye-produced Nas album? That, plus all the other projects ‘Ye announced, is going to make for one dope-ass summer.
