Louisville Walk-On Keith Oddo Had a Moment on Senior Night
Everyone loves a good walk-on moment. When it’s a walk-on’s senior night and he has a moment, it’s even better. Enter Keith Oddo, who rung in one of Sunday’s best scenes.
Up handily over Virginia Tech, Oddo came in to close out the win with the second unit. Sensing the moment, freshman David Johnson grabbed an offensive board and immediately dished it out to Oddo in the corner. With time ticking down…release, rotation, splash; Oddo got himself his first official bucket as a Louisville Cardinal.

The bench went nuts and, after the buzzer sounded, the team swarmed Oddo. It was awesome.
Oddo is a graduate student, playing in his first season in Louisville. Prior to coming over, he spent his first four years at Richmond, earning a bachelor’s degree. He scored nine points for the Spiders, including a three-ball during the 2017-18 season. Before Sunday, he had scored three points with Louisville, but all were from the charity stripe.
Louisville beat Virginia Tech 68-52 to improve to 24-6 on the season.
