MLB All-Star Final Vote: Two Days Left To Decide Final Roster Spot

Not counting any players who withdraw from the event or any potential injuries, the rosters for the 2018 MLB All-Star Game are pretty much set. There were some notable snubs (ie: Blake Snell) but it’s not worth getting all crazy over. Besides, you’ve gotta be happy for someone like Nick Markakis. He’s been an above-average hitter for more than a decade and will finally have an All-Star Game on his resume. For all the bummers, there’s an equally good story.

The one spot still to be decided comes from the annual MLB All-Star Final Vote, which is decided by the fans. This year’s vote is presented by Camping World and features some big-time stars. Below, you can see all the nominees.

AL Players:

Andrew Benintendi, OF, Boston Red Sox

Eddie Rosario, OF, Minnesota Twins

Jean Segura, SS, Seattle Mariners

Andrelton Simmons, SS, Los Angeles Angels

Giancarlo Stanton, OF, New York Yankees

NL Players:

Jesus Aguilar, 1B, Milwaukee Brewer

Brandon Belt, 1B, San Francisco Giants

Matt Carpenter, 3B, St. Louis Cardinals

Max Muncy, 1B, Los Angeles Dodgers

Trea Turner, SS, Washington Nationals

The voting will end on July 11th at 4 P.M ET.

You can vote here.

Prediction-wise, I’d say that Stanton gets in from the AL and Turner from the NL. After all, the game is in Washington, D.C. so the Nats’ faithful is probably plugging the ballot box for Trea.
