Yasiel Puig Has Reportedly Found a New Home For 2020

Yasiel Puig, who’s been without a team since wrapping up the 2019 season with Cleveland, has a new home in Atlanta, per reports. Puig had other offers on the table but decided on Atlanta. He was spotted in town earlier in the day, then news of the signing broke not too long after.

The deal is pending COVID-19 test and physical.

Last year, Puig split time between Cincinnati and Cleveland, who traded for him down the stretch. He hit .267 overall with 24 home runs in 149 games. For his career, Puig has a .277 batting average and .823 OPS.
