Ranking Every NFL Week 11 Matchup
Through 10 weeks, the NFL is starting to sort itself out. Twelve teams are about done (<10% to make postseason, per FiveThirtyEight) and five are about locked (>90% to make postseason). We have seven weeks remaining and it’s going to be amazing to watch. Here, we’ll rank every matchup for Week 11 based on storylines and watchability.
Ranking NFL Week 11 Matchups
#14: NY Jets at Washington (Sun, 1pm FOX)
Get ready for a lot of empty seats and three-and-outs.
#13: Buffalo at Miami (Sun, 1pm CBS)
Bills favored on the road but these Fins are playing well with Fitz at the helm.
#12: Jacksonville at Indianapolis (Sun, 1pm CBS)
The most interesting thing that ever happened to Brian Hoyer was Johnny Manziel. Please let Jacoby Brissett be healthy. Oh yeah, the return of Nick Foles.
#11: Atlanta at Carolina (Sun, 1pm FOX)
Atlanta wins back-to-back games for the first time all season. Book it.
#10: Cincinnati at Oakland (Sun, 4pm CBS)
Oakland is heating up. They have a 40 percent chance to make the playoffs but they’ll stomp the Bungals and increase their chances on Sunday.
#9: Denver at Minnesota (Sun, 1pm CBS)
Vikings are a darkhorse Super Bowl contender. The Brandon Allen hype train goes off the tracks in the Twin Cities.
#8: New Orleans at Tampa Bay (Sun, 1pm FOX)
Wouldn’t be surprised if the Saints get upset again. Tampa Bay can score points with the best of them…and New Orleans cannot.
#7: Arizona at San Francisco (Sun, 4pm FOX)
Upset special. Kyler and Kingsbury get their first major win as a tandem. They’re 13-point dogs but this is going to be a legit battle.
#6: Dallas at Detroit (Sun, 1pm FOX)
The two Thanksgiving teams always have good battles. World is hoping for Dak-Stafford instead of Dak-Driskel.
#5: Kansas City at LA Chargers (Mon, 8pm ESPN) *Mexico*
Will Mexico actually get their game this year?
#4: Pittsburgh at Cleveland (Thu, 8pm FOX/NFL)
A few weeks ago this wouldn’t have been this high but the Steelers are coming together as a defense and the Browns finally got a big win against Buffalo. Classic AFC North battle.
#3: Chicago at LA Rams (Sun, 8pm NBC)
Two quarterbacks surrounded by constant criticism…on Sunday Night Football. Sign me up.
#2: New England at Philadelphia (Sun, 4pm CBS)
CBS has the best games this weekend…that’s a shocker. Wentz can erase some of the remaining Foles love with a big win here.
#1: Houston at Baltimore (Sun, 1pm CBS)
Arguably the two most exciting quarterbacks in the NFL right now. This should be in primetime.
Byes: Packers, Giants, Seahawks, Titans
