Ranking Week 4 NFL Matchups

There were supposed to be 16 games this week. The Thursday Night Football game is already underway — it’d probably be close to the bottom anyway — and the Titans-Steelers game was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak. That leaves us with 14 games to rank.

14) Giants at Rams, 4:05pm FOX

Without Saquon and any other weapon of note, and with Daniel Jones at the helm, G-Men games are hard to watch. Rams are monster favorites (-13) for a reason.

13) Vikings at Texans, 1:00pm FOX

Hard to believe there’s not a win between these two teams; they were both 10-6 playoff teams last year. Someone has to win, though, so that’s something.

12) Saints at Lions, 1:00pm FOX

Anyone else think Drew Brees is cooked? Give me Detroit with the points at home.

11) Cardinals at Panthers, 1:00pm FOX

Kyler and the Cards have come a long way; they’re road favorites here. Matt Rhule got his first NFL win last week but they’re without CMC for a little while longer.

10) Chargers at Bucs, 1:00pm CBS

Come to see Brady and the weapons, stay because the rookie QB keeps it close.

9) Eagles at 49ers, 8:20pm NBC

This game looked a lot better before the season…

8) Jaguars at Bengals, 1:00pm CBS

A game in that past that might be a snoozefest, this is low-key a game I’ll be watching a lot of on Sunday Ticket.

7) Seahawks at Dolphins, 1:00pm FOX

Points on points on points.

6) Colts at Bears, 1:00pm CBS

It’s Foles season in the City of Broad Shoulders. First start for BDN.

5) Ravens at Washington, 1:00pm CBS

Battle for the DMV, Beltway Series, whatever you wanna call it, it’s going down on Sunday. Look for the Ravens to take out their MNF frustrations on the Football Team.

4) Falcons at Packers, 8:15pm ESPN (MNF)

Aaron Rodgers on Monday Night Football…nuff said. Wonder if they get down big and come back…

3) Bills at Raiders, 4:25pm CBS

Part of a killer 4pm slate, these two teams are on the come up. Plus it’s in Vegas, which everyone is still getting used to.

2) Browns at Cowboys, 1:00pm FOX

Two of the most polarizing teams in the league. I think everyone wants to see this game. If Baker has to get into a shootout, the ‘Boys should roll. Dallas run defense is 23rd, though, so if the Browns exploit that — which they can — they could have a path to a SU win.

1) Patriots at Chiefs, 4:25pm CBS

It’s criminal this game didn’t get a primetime spot. They should have the flex option all season. Not much needs to be said about this…everyone knows how major it is.
