Report: Boogie Cousins Set to Make Warriors Debut
The Golden State Warriors’ newest star, Boogie Cousins, reportedly has a date set for his return to the floor.
During the offseason, four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins shocked everyone by signing a one-year, $5.3 million deal with the Golden State Warriors. Cousins, though coming off a serious injury and unable to play to start the season, gave the Warriors a fifth star and potentially the best starting lineup in the history of the league.
Now, after a few months have passed, it seems Boogie is ready to make his debut with the Dubs.
Per a report by ESPN’s Marc Spears, the former No. 5 overall pick is planning to play against the Los Angeles Clippers on January 18th at the Staples Center.

The Warriors, as of January 9th, are the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, sitting one game behind the Denver Nuggets. Between now and Boogie’s alleged debut, the team will play four games (vs. Bulls, at Mavericks, at Nuggets, and vs. Pelicans).
