Seahawks-Cardinals Moved to Sunday Night Football

Due to the possibility of Tampa Bay-Las Vegas getting postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, the league has flexed Seattle-Arizona to Sunday Night Football so NBC doesn’t miss out on their only weekly broadcast.

The Raiders are dealing with multiple coronavirus cases this week, leaving the game in question. If it got canceled at the last minute, it would leave NBC in the lurch.

“These decisions were made out of an abundance of caution to ensure that a game would be available for fans on Sunday Night Football,” the NFL said in a statement on Twitter.

“We expect the Buccaneers-Raiders game to be played on Sunday afternoon,” they continued. “Scheduling decisions are made to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts.”

The Bucs-Raiders game (aka Gruden Bowl) is taking the original place of Cardinals-Seahawks — they’re just switching. Kickoff for Seattle-Arizona will be at 8:20 p.m. ET from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

With Arizona playing on SNF, that means they’re playing back-to-back primetime games; the Cardinals just trounced Dallas on Monday Night Football.

The second Cardinals-Seahawks game of the season in Week 11 will also be a primetime national TV game. Their Week 11 matchup will be on Thursday Night Football on November 19th (FOX/NFL Network).

Seattle (5-0) is currently the No. 1 team in the NFC West while Arizona (4-2) is right behind them at No. 2.
