Steelers QB Duck Hodges Pops Up at Rutgers-Pittsburgh Game
Devlin “Duck” Hodges is becoming a folk hero in Pittsburgh. The third-stringer has led the Steelers to three wins this year — his rookie season — and he’s been a serious upgrade over the team’s No. 2 quarterback, Mason Rudolph.
As the defined starter of an NFL franchise, you get all the perks. Meals are free, you get noticed by fans, and when you go to local sporting events, you get put on the big screen and television broadcast to take a bow.

I can’t confirm how many meals Hodges is getting on the arm these days, but he definitely got the big-screen treatment on Tuesday night. The undrafted rookie from Samford got recognized during the Rutgers-Pittsburgh game on ESPNU, much to the delight of the Pitt crowd at the Petersen Events Center.
In four games this season, Devlin Hodges has a 97.0 passer rating.
The Steelers (7-5) will play at Arizona this week.
