The Cool Kids Dropping New Version of “Black Mags” For 10th Anniversary of The Bake Sale EP

The Cool Kids haven’t done a ton over the last few years, but did release a new album, Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe, in 2017. Now, for 2018, the Midwestern duo is back to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their critically-acclaimed EP The Bake Sale. Per Chuck Inglish, The Cool Kids will be releasing a remixed version of “Black Mags” on June 20th, 2018. The song, which is the albums second-most popular track on Genius, will feature brand-new verses from both Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks.

Here is the tweet that announced the news:

Both artists have done solo work since the heyday of The Cool Kids. Per Genius, Sir Michael Rocks’ last release was “Bull Market“, while Inglish last did a song off Larry June’s You’re Doing Good album, titled “Too Live Crew“.

The original version of “Black Mags” can be heard below.

As Chuck says, it’s for the culture…
