The Herd Podcast Network Adds MLB Podcast Hosted by Rob Parker

Fox Sports personality Rob Parker has a new baseball podcast, titled “Inside the (Rob) Parker,” on The Herd Podcast Network.

Colin Cowherd left ESPN a few years ago for sunny Los Angeles and a new career at Fox Sports. Since making the move, Cowherd seems genuinely happier; his FS1 studio show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, is a staple for millions across several platforms and growing continuously. The show is great, and the main reason why he’s paid the big bucks, but Cowherd has more freedom and autonomy at Fox, specifically with his personal brand.

The main example of Cowherd’s independence is The Herd Now, a website free of Fox logos that acts as his content hub while also bringing in revenue through merch and books. ESPN would never allow that, so you can understand why he’s all-in at Fox.

Last year, Cowherd announced the next phase of The Herd Now: a new podcast network, fittingly titled The Herd Podcast Network. His show is featured on the network, as well as a football podcast by John Middlekauff and a basketball podcast by Doug Gottlieb (which, in my opinion, is one of the two best college hoops shows in the entire podosphere). All they were missing was a baseball show…until Fox Sports personality Rob Parker hopped on board.

Parker, a frequent guest on Cowherd’s show and respected sports journalist, launched a new show today on The Herd Podcast Network that’s dedicated entirely to Major League Baseball. The project, titled Inside the (Rob) Parker, is the fourth show in Cowherd’s stable of podcasts.

“Baseball is my first love, my true sports passion,” said Parker, who is a Baseball Hall of Fame voter. “If you think I have hot takes on the NFL and the NBA, wait until you hear them about the national pastime. For sure, it will be fun and informative.”

The first episode, which you can listen to below, features a conversation with Darryl Strawberry and runs just shy of 30 minutes. New episodes of Inside the (Rob) Parker will be released every Wednesday during the baseball season.

As always, thanks for reading!
