Fittingly, Tickets For Shwayze & Cisco Adler’s Reunion Tour Go On Sale April 20th

Ten years ago, Shwayze and Cisco Adler ruled an entire summer with their single “Buzzin” and the subsequent album that followed, the self-titled Shwayze. Mixing Adler’s crooning and guitar work with Shwayze’s chill-hop rhyme style, the album reached No. 3 on the Billboard Rap Chart and No. 10 overall.

Now, with a decade in the rear-view mirror, the two are teaming up for an nine-date tour to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of that 2008 summer. They’ll do four dates on the East Coast (Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia, and D.C.,), as well as five dates on the West Coast (San Luis Obispo x 2, Phoenix, San Diego, and Santa Cruz). Fittingly, tickets go on sale on April 20th (4/20).

Recently, Shwayze and Cisco teamed up for what was supposed to be a one-night only event in California. However, because the concert was such a marked success, and because the two still have A-plus chemistry, they decided to team up for this awesome idea.

While a lot has changed since that summer of 2008 — most notably the fact that Shwayze and Cisco have traded in the party life for family life — it’s going to be awesome seeing them back together. I suggest you grab your tickets quick, they have a niche fan-base that love them some sun-kissed Shwayze tunes.

I’ll be at the D.C. show…see y’all there.

Tickets can be found here.
