Travis Scott Astroworld Tour Coming to Washington, D.C.

Travis Scott’s Astroworld Tour will make a stop in Washington, D.C. to play Capital One Arena.

Travis Scott made the most of 2018, releasing a critically-acclaimed album in August, Astroworld, followed by loads of recognition for its quality and impact. The project featured appearances from several notable musicians — including Pharrell, Drake, Kid Cudi, and Stevie Wonder — and was voted the №1 rap album of 2018 by UPROXX. Additionally, Astroworld, Scott’s third studio album, went double Platinum and spent time at №1 on the Billboard 200.

We’re now in the third month of 2019 and Astroworld isn’t losing any steam. Scott was part of the Super Bowl LIII halftime show on February 3rd, just a week before Astroworld and its contents were nominated in three different categories (Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance) at the 61st Grammy Awards. And if that’s not enough cool shit in one month, Scott was also crisscrossing the United States in February as part of his aptly-named Astroworld Tour.

The Astroworld Tour is still selling out arenas as we speak, and if you live in the DMV area, you can be part of the experience.

Travis Scott will bring Astroworld to D.C.’s Capital One Arena on Tuesday, March 12th at 8:00 P.M ET. Tickets start at a very affordable $29.95 and there are still seats available. If you want some freebies, NBC Sports Washington is giving a few away for free.
