UVA Legend Malcolm Brogdon Has Career-High 33 Points vs. Knicks
As far as the regular season goes, Virginia legend Malcolm Brogdon had his best NBA game on Saturday night at home against the Knicks. Unfortunately, the Pacers lost 106-102 but Brogdon was red hot from deep and finished with 33 points.
In a team-high 41 minutes, Brogs went 12-for-18 from the field, including 7-of-10 from beyond the arc. He also hit both of his free-throw attempts. As usual, he also stuffed the stat sheet, adding seven dimes and two steals.
Brogdon’s previous regular-season career-high was 32 points.
It should be noted that during last year’s postseason in the bubble, the former Rookie of the Year had a game where he scored 34 points.
Through six games this season, Brogdon is averaging 22.2 points per game. Indiana is 4-2 and will play its next game at New Orleans on Monday night (8 p.m. ET).
