2022 ACC Tournament Odds, Predictions, Bracket & TV Schedule
It’s been a down year for the ACC, that’s undeniable. Only five teams (Duke, Wake Forest, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame) are currently projected in the 2022 field, per Joe Lunardi, with another pair (Virginia & Virginia Tech) squarely on his bubble. It would be nice to see more than five in the dance, and it’s certainly possible. The two Virginia teams can bolster their resumes with nice wins inside the conference tournament and sneak in, or someone can just steal a bid by winning the whole damn thing.

ACC Tournament Predictions:
Best Value: North Carolina +500
Building off the momentum of their Duke win, the Tar Heels are playing their best ball right now. And that number (+500) is extra sweet when you ACC Player of the Year runner-up Armando Bacot leading the way and one of the most balanced starting fives in the country. Every member of their starting unit found themselves mentioned in the ACC’s end-of-year awards release. I think the winner of the tourney comes from the bottom part of the bracket.
Best Longshot: Virginia +1600
If anyone can go on an unexpected run, it’s the team with the unique style of play. The Hoos can beat everyone in this conference and have one of the best backcourts in veteran Kihei Clark and lockdown defender Reece Beekman. Outside shooting has been the big issue this year but if Armaan Franklin can shake off his year-long struggles (27%) and shoot like he did last year at Indiana (42%), Tony Bennett‘s team will be much better off. Syracuse at +5000 is intriguing, too.
