Veterans Classic: Maryland-Navy to Air on CBS Sports Network

Maryland and Navy will play tonight on CBS Sports Network as part of the fifth annual Veterans Classic event.

The game is set to start at 8:30 P.M ET immediately after the Providence-Wichita State game which starts at 6:00 P.M ET. Both will be aired nationally on CBS Sports Network as part of the Veterans Classic. In addition to this year, CBS announced that they plan to air the Veterans Classic every year until 2021.

Navy is hosting both games at Alumni Hall in Annapolis, MD.

Maryland and Navy haven’t played since 1985 when they met in the NCAA Tournament. At that point, it was their 58th time facing one another but they haven’t played since, per the Capital Gazette.

All four teams have already played one game so this will be everyone’s second game of the season. Maryland and Providence both won their initial game this year while Navy and Wichita State both opened with losses.
