WATCH: Gronk Catches First Bucs TD

Rob Gronkowski has had an uneven start to his comeback tour. Before Week 6, he had 12 catches in five games without a touchdown. And in two of the five games he was held to one or fewer receptions.

He was just waiting for the biggest game to have a huge impact, though. Against Green Bay, he hauled in his first touchdown since coming out of retirement — a beautiful back-shoulder ball from Tom Brady — and has been a major part of the offense.

Tampa Bay, a home underdog, took a 28-10 lead into halftime and went on to win 38-10. It was the first loss of 2020 for Green Bay. Gronk finished with a season-high eight targets and 78 yards on five catches plus a touchdown.

The touchdown hook-up between Tom and Gronk was their 79th all-time for the regular season — tying them for fourth with Dan Marino and Mark Clayton — and 91st all-time between regular and postseason.

Brady finished with a 104.9 passer rating and zero turnovers. Ronald Jones went over 100 yards on the ground with three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving).

Gronk’s touchdown was his first in 679 days.
