WATCH: Rajon Rondo Hits 3 For His First NBA Bubble Points
Rajon Rondo‘s NBA bubble action was over before it started, fracturing his thumb during one of the Lakers’ first bubble practices. That was July 13th. Almost two months, eight seeding games and a first-round series later, he’s back.
In Game 1 of the Lakers semifinal series against Houston, Rondo returned in bench duty and he’s getting major run. Besides some unexplained slipping, he’s given the team a boost with his plus-vision and ability to push the rock. Right before the end of the first quarter, he hit his first shot of the bubble, a long three off a crosscourt pass from teammate Alex Caruso.
