WATCH: World Series Final Out Reaction From Bar Full of Nats Fans

Earlier this year, Daniel Hudson was pitching for the Toronto Blue Jays, a team with no hope of even sniffing the MLB postseason. Back then, he would have never believed where his season would end: hugging Washington Nationals catcher Yan Gomes after getting the final out of the 2019 World Series.

Nats fans all over the DMV area watched patiently as Hudson pitched the final half-inning in Houston, and they all started bugging out at the same time as Hudson ended it in perfect fashion, a swinging strikeout. Here is a video of where I was when the moment happened…in a bar surrounded by Nats fans in Fairfax, Va.
