Week 15 in the NFL is awesome; we’ve got fantasy football playoffs kicking off, games on Saturday, and a bunch of teams fighting for spots in the postseason. What could make it better? Well, I’ve got an idea, and it could potentially result in a couple stacks of cash coming your way.
I love crazy parlays on Bovada. Every Sunday, you can find me putting in several 50-cent bets — mostly crazy five-team or six-team parlays — that would net big payouts if they hit. Are they likely to win? Definitely not. Once every month or so, however, a parlay does come through and it re-ups my account for a while.

Yes, it’s kind of crazy to pick four road dogs on the moneyline; I totally understand if that’s what you’re thinking. At the same time, though, the Packers and Dolphins are coming off a huge wins in Week 14 and fighting for their playoff lives from here on out. Dallas is scorching hot and oozing confidence, and Tampa Bay, a team that lights up scoreboards on the regular, is facing a rookie quarterback in Lamar Jackson that’s extremely overdue for a letdown. If those four storylines play out in our favor, you can let it ride on the OVER in the New Orleans-Carolina game or hedge it to guarantee a payout.
Hedging, in this situation, would play out like this: Green Bay, Miami, Dallas, and Tampa Bay win outright on Sunday, leaving you with $1,930 riding on the Monday Night Football OVER. If you wanted to hedge, you’d place a bet on the UNDER — let’s say $550 to win $500 — in order to lock in some dough. If the OVER comes in, you win your $1,930 but lose your $550, resulting in a $1,380 net win. If the UNDER comes in, your $10 parlay bet is shot but you still take home $490 because you won $500 on the hedge bet. Let’s pray it comes to this…
