Western Conference Play-In Game Scenarios
The bottom of the Western Conference has provided much of the excitement in the NBA bubble. Now, with one game left, four teams are left fighting to get into the No. 8 vs. No. 9 play-in game.
Right now, it would be No. 8 Portland vs. No. 9 Memphis but all four teams have a chance and it’ll all be decided before Friday’s slate of games.

8/13: Mavericks at Suns, 4pm (TNT)
8/13: Spurs at Jazz, 630pm (TNT)
8/13: Blazers at Nets, 9pm (TNT)
Scenarios:
No. 8 seed if they win
No. 8 seed if all three other teams lose (Spurs, Suns, Grizzlies)
No. 9 seed if they lose and get losses from any two of the other three teams (Spurs, Suns, Grizzlies)
Eliminated if they lose and two of three other teams win
No. 8 seed if they win and Portland loses
No. 9 seed if they win and Portland wins
No. 9 seed if all three other teams lose (Blazers, Spurs, Suns)
Eliminated if they lose and either Suns or Spurs win
No. 8 seed if they win and Portland and Memphis both lose
No. 9 seed if they win and either Portland or Memphis lose
Eliminated if they lose
No. 8 seed if they win and all three other teams lose (Blazers, Suns, Grizzlies)
